HOOOLY SHIT i haven't updated this in a while. 2023 was an overwhelming year for me if im being honest lmfao. i started (and scrapped) a lot of projects, worked with a lot of cool people, made a fuckton of friends, and a lotta more stuff! what im saying is that my schedule was fuckin' booked and i think i slipped a disc somewhere along the way.

well, now its 2024, and i wanted to letcha know some fun stuff i've been working on! and i also wanted to check in on you guys and ramble my phat mouth. check it!

~ THE CLERKS HOLIDAY SPECIAL ~

thats right biatches, me and couple of pals are making a fully dubbed version of the clerks holiday special! i wanted to have come out during the holidays, but with timing and stuff and with all the editing, we weren't able to make such a close deadline lol. 

but FRET NOT! it definitely will be coming out this year, maybe looking at a christmas-in-july type deal. or idk. its like 75% done so if theres some other christmas-y holiday i should release this on lmk. the dub will but put on youtube because comic dubs on newgrounds are like the spawn of satan, but i will definitely upload the thumbnail art im doing for it. w00t. speaking of youtube...

~ THE BIRTH OF A YOUTUBING LOSER, CONVENIENTLY ON A BOAT ~

you heard that right. with the clerks dub being on youtube and all, why not travel across new seas, and infiltrate already populated land chris-columbus style by uploading on youtube! before the dub comes out, you'll be seeing a youtube video of me on.. whats this.. a cruise?!

THATS RIGHT SUCKAS! i'm hopping on board the jay and silent bob cruise askew! so not only will i be blogging some of my time there (i'll mostly be enjoying my vacation because i Desperately needed one), but i will vlogging the days leading up to the cruise! yah know, me spending time in miami, florida and being a wackass tourist. 

from there, i hope to post more videos! not vlogs essentially, but mostly just rambling about random bullshit. i need to unbottle all my conversation starters or else i think i'll explode. 

~ THOSE TWO MEULINEX PROJECTS A TOTAL OF TWO (2) PEOPLE REMEMBER ~

as some of you may recall, back when i started this account, i was working on a comic named "Stitched Apart" for eons on end. i have an entire plot, some storyboards, all plotted out and everything. the thing is though: i never made a comic in my entire LIFE. so im putting stitched apart to the side to gain some comic cred and experience and basically just... learn. this is where project two comes in!

you might of seen me tease this one on my twitter. this is RETAIL RONNIE! a short newspaper-esque comic about two dorks who work at a supermarket in the bronx in 2012-2013. based off of my own childhood experiences being in the bronx. hah. 

i plan to start working on this as soon as possible, so expect some fun stuff on its way!

P.S. to the two people who were oh so desperately waiting for stitched apart to come out: sorry but you're gonna have to hold out for a couple more years. i wrote that shit in high school man. 

~ CLOSING STATEMENT ~

well, thats really about it. a lot of stuff happened last year that really dragged me down, but its up to me to bring myself back up! lifes only good if you make it good. so this year im really going to be focusing on doing what i love, educating myself and going on my own pace. i advise all my fellow creators to do the same. dont stress when you cant find work immediately or you have a lot of projects or ideas on your shoulders. pace everything out, and let opportunities come to you. i can't stress that enough.

now if you'll need me, i'll be eating some bbq chips and smoking a blunt.
